Okay. If you're house-hunting in the western KY/Ft. Campbell/Clarksville TN area, Karen is your girl. She is full of sparkle, sweetness and knowledge! We had long since outgrown our teeny starter house, and were looking for a reno project at a great price in a great neighborhood. She showed us DOZENS of houses; nothing was too much trouble for her. When we were finally ready to bite the bullet and list the house, she had amazing ideas for staging our little place. Her knowledge of all the little out-of-the-way stores to find cool and attractive furnishings and other things was so helpful! I really believe that her knowledge of what buyers look for, and how to dress the place up appealingly helped that little house sell in EIGHT DAYS. Yes. EIGHT DAYS. But back to the house-hunting process...some people hate this part...we LOVED it! She was so much fun to work with because she took the time to understand our personalities, our architectural likes and dislikes, and our needs and desires for our next place. And her passion for houses is evident; she could find something good in every house. However, she was always honest and realistic about houses that she knew had bigger problems than we wanted to tackle, or that really might not be the best idea for us. Karen is also extremely familiar with the area, geographically and historically, which was nice; we are not natives to the area, and the facts she shared with us were both interesting and helpful in our decision-making. Since she's quite experienced in the real estate business, she also gave us names of the best home inspectors, tradesmen, and retail outlets for all the things we would need in this HUGE renovation project. We were toying with the idea of selling our home, mentioned it to friends that looked and bought it. We contacted Karen to help us find a new home. Karen showed us numerous houses but we couldn't find the "one". As closing day was approaching on our house, Karen called and had a house to show us. We looked and loved it. The house was a foreclosure so there was lots of extra paperwork to be done. Karen went above and beyond taking care of all the extra paperwork and even calling the banks when needed.
